Social Studies 8C -  Students had their last class to research election candidates.  Students should complete on their own. Began ch. 1.  Reviewed pages 12-13.  Students should have completed the first three vocabulary words on their vocabulary worksheet.

Social Studies 8E  - Began ch. 1.  Reviewed pages 12-13.  Students should have completed the first three vocabulary words on their vocabulary worksheet.

Social Studies 9B - Reviewed the worksheet: "Spot and Respond to the Issue Organizer".  Watched a video about the Gun Registry in Canada.  For homework, students are to read the article:"The gun law - pro and con" and complete the response on the back page.  Students had the first of two class periods to research election candidates. 

 Social Studies 9D  - NO CLASS TODAY. Reviewed "The gun law - pro and con" and the response on the back page.  Students wrote responses on pages 8 & 9 of the handout: Issues for Canadians.  Students had class time to research election candidates.
