Social Studies 8E  - Students wrote the Introduction Quiz today.  Chapter 1 Vocabulary was handed out today, but not assigned.

Social Studies 9B - NO CLASS TODAY. Reviewed the worksheet : "What is your Opinion". Began looking at controversial issues.  Students took notes on what makes for a controversial issue.  Conducted 4 corner discussion.

Social Studies 9D  - Reviewed the "Spot and Respond to the Issue Organizer".  Students watched a video about the Gun Registry in Canada.  Students were assigned the article: "The Gun Law: Pro and Con".  Students should read the article and write the response on the back page  (this is due next class).
